  1. What is terrorism? Encarta defines terrorism as political violence: violence or the threat of violence, especially bombing, kidnapping, and assassination, carried out for political purposes. The United Nations in 1997 issued this statement related to terrorism. “The Convention applies to the offence of the intentional and unlawful delivery, placement, discharge or detonation of an explosive or other lethal device, whether attempted or actual, in, into or against a place of public use, a State or government facility, a public transportation system or an infrastructure facility, with the intent to cause death or serious bodily injury, or extensive destruction likely to or actually resulting in major economic loss.”

Because these attacks or attempted attacks are against sovereign nations, e.g., Israel, United States, etc., many believe these attacks or threats of attacks are for political reasons. Many people and nations refuse to discuss the real reason behind the Islamic terrorist because the Islamic terrorists have been linked with other terrorists. However these terrorists are different in they do not have a single nationality or a single homeland they are seeking. Instead the Islamic terrorist are joined together by philosophy, religion and intimidation.

This is an enemy unknown to nations. Most wars are fought over ethnicity, land and money. However the war against Islamic terror does not fit these categories. Muslims are of different ethnic groups. Africans, Arabs and Europeans have all participated in some form of Islamic terrorism. They do not have a land that they are defending. Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Indonesia are countries controlled by Muslims but yet they have suffered terrorists attacks. Money is not the answer because rewards of up to $25 million for the capture of terrorist leaders have gone unclaimed while many of the perpetrators of terrorism live in abject poverty.

What then is the cause of Islamic terrorism? The root cause is steeped in the legitimacy of one religion versue another. Many claim that all religions lead to God. There is nothing further from the truth. The extremists on either end of Zionism and Islam know that the crux of their religion is dependent upon the elimination of the other.

God in Genesis chapters 12 through fifteen tells Abraham that his Seed is to totally dominate and possess all of Palestine/Philistine or the Promised Land. Joel 3:2 states that God will punish the people that divide up the Promised Land. Therefore for the Jew it is important that he reclaim all of the Promised Land if he wants to be obedient to God.

For the Muslim who believes that Islam will be the only religion in the world. All inhabitants of the earth will become Muslims. The President of Iran believes this and awaits a great conflagration in Iraq to usher in the Mahdi. In Islam thought the Mahdi is the person that will usher in universal Islam, some believe with the help of Isa (who some Muslims call Jesus).

The one thorn in the side of Muslims is Israel. Israel is the lone Jewish state surrounded by Muslim state in the Middle East. How can Islam possibly claim superiority of the world when they cannot eradicate Israel. In 1967 the surrounding Muslim nations started a war against Israel. Israel won this war in 6 days and captured all of Jerusalem. However, because of the agreement that allowed Israel to become a nation in 1947 that established its boundaries, Israel was pressured by the United Nations to return partial control of Jerusalem to the Palestinians.

This is why the Muslim nations so detest Israel. Israel is a constant reminder to them that their religion is inferior to the God of the universe. And this is also why they hate the United States of America due to our military support of Israel.

One more thing to consider. In Ezekiel 36 God Almighty states that the reason He will regather Israel from the four corners of the World to re-establish them is only for His Name sake. As a matter of fact, God said He would rejoice in their destruction if they did not obey Him. Therefore the regathering of Israel and their protection is to prove to the World that God is God and it is not due to some special priviledge Israel has.

After all, in Galatians 3, Paul state that the Seed of Abraham through whom all the World would be blessed is none other than our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Therefore the promise is to whoever receives the Seed or receives Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.  Supporting scriptures are in Romans 2:28-29.

  2. I feel it is unfortunate that so many young Muslim men and women have been duped by others into thinking that murder and terror in this life will be rewarded in the next life with “40 virgins” and other riches. Clearly satan is at work here. I have faith based on the promises in the Bible specifically the book of Revelations that no matter how many people these monsters succeed in killing, that faithful Christians will ultimately prevail and will have everlasting life in the kingdom of Heaven with The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

  3. Well said Shayala,

Although the count may not be 40 virgins in heaven, the deception is still the same. Death cannot stop the message that the Heavenly Father has given through His Son Christ Jesus our Lord. Afterall Christ Jesus conquered hell, death and the grave. All those that believe on Him and live as He tells us to live shall also conquer death, hell and the grave.

It may appear that we are giving up a lot. but what we loose cannot compare to what we gain in Christ Jesus.

Continue to grow in faith and let your faith be a witness to others of the power and authority of God to heal and restore in the name of His Son Christ Jesus our Lord.

  4. The Holy Spirit who is God (Acts 5:2-4). The power and prescence of the Holy Spirit is often times misrepresented.

The Work of the Holy Spirit

John16:5 “Now I am going to him who sent me, yet none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ 6Because I have said these things, you are filled with grief. 7But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt[a] in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: 9in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; 10in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned. ”

He comes to convict the world of unrightseousness. The Holy Spirit rights the ship where bad teachers and bad leaders have tried to destroy it. God never said you would go to hell if you did not prosper. He did say that you would go to hell if you are homosexual, an adulterer, believe in other gods or anything else that leads to unrighteousness (Galatians 5:16-21).

When the leadership in the church refuses to cry out against sin, God’s Holy Spirit will speak through His true prophets (Mark 13:11). Do not be confused by the people saying they are prophets speaking for God. Our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus said many false prophets and teachers would come to deceive (Matthew 24). If they are not crying out against sin do not follow them, if they are not directing you to the Heavenly Father through His Son Christ Jesus do not follow them.

John 14:15″If you love me, you will obey what I command. 16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[c] in you. 18I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.”

  5. Pastor Williams,
What if you are unsaved when you enter into your first marriage, the marriage fails because of adulterous affairs, and you divorce.
You enter into a second marriage. You and your spouse become Christians. Through studying God’s Word, you are now aware that your second marriage is not sanctioned by God because your first spouse is alive. You want to be in God’s will, please Him, but you love your husband too. And, what about the children born of this union? What happens now? Does’nt it matter that I was not saved during my first marriage?

  6. Pastor Williams,
David was an adulterer in his relationship with Bathsheba. He repented and was forgiven. Did David’s wife Michal, Saul’s daughter, die shortly after Bathsheba gave birth to their first son? I ask because he and Bathsheba had another son Solomon. If Michal was still living, did’nt David continue in adultery?
Also, was’nt Solomon an adulterer too? He had many wives and concubines. Did he ever repent?
The Commandments had already been given, so David and Solomon were very much aware of their transgressions and without excuse. My understanding is that God did not hold His people accountable for multiple wives, incestuous marriages and concubines prior to The Law.

  7. To Anonymous;

This week believers in Christ Jesus have heard and read some very ominous news.

“Groups on both sides of the “pro-choice/pro-family” debate are starting to react to the decision today by the Food and Drug Administration to allow over-the-counter sales of the “morning-after pill,” or Plan B contraceptive, without a prescription to women 18 or older.”

    And,

“Scientists have found a way to make human embryonic stem cells without destroying embryos, a breakthrough that could overcome intense ethical objections to the research.”

What is life? Is it something so tenuous that scientist at their discretion can destroy or manipulate it. Is life truly in the hands of the scientist?

The Bible teaches that life begins before conception. Jeremiah 1:5, God told Jeremiah that before he was formed in his mother’s womb God knew him. The Apostle Paul said he was chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world in Ephesian 1:4. Gabriel the angel proclaimed to Mary that she would have a child and His name would be called Jesus because He would save His people from their sins. This proclamation took place before Christ Jesus was born. Ezekiel 81:4, God states that all souls are His.

We make the mistake of thinking that life begins at conception. Even though that is bad enough, we go even further in believing that as long as the child is not outside the womb it is not a life. This is the position of those that support partial birth abortion. Everything but the head of the body is removed from the womb, then an instrument is used to puncture the skull or brain of the baby to kill it. How barbaric and gruesome this act is.

Margaret Sanger, one of the founders of Planned Parenthood was a racist. Planned Parenthood is one of the most vocal and monetary supporters of killing of innocent babies in the womb. She wrote: “We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten that idea out if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

Birth control was conceived as a way not only to control the black population, but it also believed in the racist eugenics taught by the Nazis taking advantage of the least fortunate of us.

We as believers should respect the life that only God can give by His Son Christ Jesus our Lord.

However, killing of life is killing of life. There is never a justifiable reason to kill an innocent person. Whether it is through incest, a dysfunctional marriage or rape, the life that results from these conditions come from God. We are only vessels by which the life entered this world.

  8. Rev Williams, Many years ago I had an abortion. I believed the lie that it was’nt a real baby yet. I was two months pregnant at the time. I was’nt a Christian and did’nt think I had done anything wrong. After I became a Christian I learned my baby was a real human being and not just a clump of blood and tissue. I felt so bad, so guilty, so unworthy. How could Jesus forgive me for killing my baby? Through many tears and prayers of repenting I know in my heart that Jesus has forgiven me. Sometimes when I see little babies I think about what I did. I wonder how my baby would have looked, and what he would be if I had’nt done such a horrible thing. The feelings of guilt and shame come back. Then the Holy Spirit reminds me Jesus forgave me and has forgotten all about what I did. Now I need to forgive myself. I am a new creature in Jesus and that the old me does’nt live anymore. Satan tries to make me feel ashamed and guilty by reminding me of my past sometimes. But I try to keep in mind that he’s talking to somebody who does’nt live anymore. He’s not talking to me. I hope I have helped someone else to not believe the devil’s lie and if you are a Christian, a for real blood bought child of God, you are forgiven. Thank you for the opportunity to give my testimony. God bless you and your work for the Lord.

  9. NNP,

Thanks for sharing. You do not know how many people you have helped by sharing your testimony. WE all have sinned, but thank be to God there is forgiveness in Christ Jesus.

  10. KB,

I apologize for the delayed response. The answer to your first response is that it is the Law, which includes the Ten Commandments, that points us out as sinners. Without the Law there is knowledge of sin.

Romans 7:7 … Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin , but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

This is why God declares that “For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God” (Romans 3:23) It is based on the Commandments that declares we all are sinners through the breaking of the Law and the transgression of Adam.

Therefore whether you are saved or unsaved, the Law still applies. We see this example when John the Baptist tells Herod that it is now lawful for him to have his brother’s wife (Mark 6:18). Herod was not saved but the Law still applied to Him.

Secondly, to be a Christian means to repent or turn away from your sins. To remarry while you have a living spouse is considered adultery.

Romans 7:3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Galatians 5:19 and 21 says that an adulterer shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. God is not looking for lip services when it comes to repentance He is looking for action. And sometimes action may mean suffering on our part.

In the Book of Ezra it speaks to marriages with children being dissolved to fulfill the righteousness of God.

Ezra 10:11 Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives.

19 And they gave their hands that they would put away their wives; and being guilty, they offered a ram of the flock for their trespass

Ezra 10:44 All these had taken strange wives: and some of them had wives by whom they had children.

It doesn’t matter that you were not saved. The Word of God still applies. That is why we get saved and why we help others to get saved. God forgives us through His Son Christ Jesus for our transgression, but we must be willing to turn away from the sinful act. If not we are still sinners.

Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

  11. KB,

This is the response to your second comment.

The Bible says that if you put away or divorce and remarry while your spouse is still alive it is adultery.

Mark 10:11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

The key is David never divorced Michal. In the case of Bathsheba, David had Uriah killed that he may have Bathsheba.

2 Samuel 11:15 And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.

David took another man’s wife and throughout the Bible Bathsheba, even though she gave birth to Solomon for David is referred to as the wife of Uriah.

    Matthew 1:6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her …of Urias;

The sin is to take another’s spouse. Polygamy was during the time when God winked at this type of relationship.

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Multiples wives were allowed but it was not the will of God. Incest was not as we know it now. There were so few people on the earth that this also was acceptable until people began to populate the earth. The Book of Leviticus 20:17-21 begins to distinguish between the type of relationships that are acceptable and those that are not.

  12. Pastor Williams,
Thanks for the follow-up. I have often wondered how David could have fathered yet another child with Bathsheba, have a living wife, and still be a righteous man before God. Was Solomon ever repentive of his many wives, concubines? I know that these wives led him into idolatry. Also, thanks for clearing up another question as to why the Bible continued to refer to Bathsheba as “wife of Uriah.

  13. KB,

The Bible does not say. It does say that because of the covenant that God made with David, God would not take the Kingdom away from Soloman. The covenant allowed God to overlook the sinful lifestyle of Solomon.

God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy.

Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
14 ¶ What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

Also Solomon is included in what we call the Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11.

  14. Pastor Williams,
Your response to KB has basically answered my question in part. I was going to ask for your thoughts on Devine Predesination, God’s grace and mercy vs God’s justice. (Isaiah 46:9-10)” For I am God,and there is no other; I am God,and there is none like Me. Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done. Saying ; “My counsel shall stand and I will do all My pleasure”. (Romans 8:29-30) “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; whom He justified, these He also glorified”. (Ephesians 1:4-6,11) “Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace. 11)In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will”. Predestine means: to fix the future of in advance, doom to, preordain, foreordain, predetermine, preestablish, fate, predecide. I have often heard that where man sees his life from day to day, God sees our lives from beginning to end. God has given each of us the freedom of choice, of free will. If man chooses to follow after the things of the flesh, refusing and denying the things of God; then his reward is eternal separation from God. Father God already knows what we will do and the choices we will make. (2Peter 3:9) “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering towards us, not willing that any should perish but that ALL should come to repentance”. Therefore, it is the responsibility of man to choose God and to seek Him while He may be found. It is not the fault of God, but man, if he inherits eternal damnation in satan’s hell instead of eternal peace in God glorious Kingdom. What say you Pastor.

  15. Very good.

We tend to think of God as being linear. Instead He is multi-linear. Any course of action or decision we choose to take God knows the end of it. If He did not know the end of every decision then He would not be God. By definition God is all knowing, the beginning and the end.

However, we are finite. We do not easily grasp the future. For those that do it is because God has revealed it to them. That is why we work out our own soul salvation with fear and trembling.

We do not know all the evils that tomorrow brings. It is our desire to make heaven our home but the struggles that come from trials and tribulations can sidetrack us unless we continue to believe. We do not know the end of our life, the end of the world or the return of Christ.

So we persevere believing in the promises of God without knowing everything the future holds for us. We do believe that whatever God promised He will do. This is what faith is. Not knowing the future but trusting the One who holds the future.

  16. Pastor Williams,
Is the belief that Judas Iscariot had no choice in the matter of his betrayal of Jesus correct? Could he have chosen not to betray Jesus? If he was predestined to betray Jesus, then where is justice for Judas? Was he born for the sole purpose of betraying Jesus? Matthew 26:24 and Mark 14:21 state that it would have “been good for that man if he had not been born”. Is this an example of God having mercy on whomever He pleases?

  17. Byron,

Judas had a choice as we all have a choice. However Judas chose Satan.

Luke 22:3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

    John 13:2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him;

We see further still that Judas had a choice when we see him repenting. Repentance is based on a person knowing that the choice he made was wrong. There is no repentance when there is no choice.

Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

A sinner without the knowledge of God’s Word does not know that he is a sinner. Since Judas had the Word of God walking with him, he had knowledge of his sinful heart, but chose to allow Satan to enter into his heart.

Matthew 27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

If he was predestined to betray Jesus, then where is justice for Judas?

Why do we focus on the negative. It is God’s desire that all souls be saved. To believe that he was predestined to condemnation is to contradict the following scriptures. God was only foretelling the decision that Judas made.

Ezekiel 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

We all have the error of Judas in our hearts. Some of us choose to turn away from the condemnation and receive Christ Jesus, others choose to walk in condemnation and reject Christ. Judas is just one of many fulfilling the role of the condemned who refuse to accept Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

Is this an example of God having mercy on whomever He pleases?

Yes. Mercy is solely at the discretion of God. God is not required to show mercy. It does not violate His Word by not showing everyone mercy. If a person is not showed mercy condemnation awaits them. However He is required to honor every person’s salvation that comes through His Son Christ Jesus. However to fulfill His plan of salvation there are some people He must show mercy, even though all of us deserve condemnation.

Instead of asking where the justice is for Judas we should thank God that He had mercy on us and did not allow us to perish the same way. Once again we do not know the will of God for every person. However we do not that it is not God’s will that any soul be lost and that He loved the World enough that He sent His Son to die for us. However, it is still our choice as to whether or not we choose condemnation or salvation. Because we refuse to accept Christ does not mean that we had no choice.

  18. Pastor Williams,
If Judas, having realized the magnitude of what he had done, repented and returned the pieces of silver (Matthew 27:3), was he forgiven? God foreknew that Judas would betray Christ, so He also knew that Judas would repent. We as believers, all commit wrongful deeds at times, transgressing against our Heavenly Father. But He is faithful and just to forgive and to restore us. We turn from our sin and purpose in our hearts to not commit that act again. Judas did not betray anyone else because he committed suicide, which brings another question to mind. Is the act of suicide unforgivable? The beliefs that Judas was doomed from birth and that suicide is unforgivable have been hotly debated topics for many years.

  19. kb,

Matthew 27:3 says Judas repented himself. He did not repent to God. He felt bad about what he did but not bad enough to go to God. Peter had the opportunity to follow Christ Jesus to the Judgement Hall. John followed Christ Jesus to the cross. If Judas’ repentance was to God, he could have easily have followed Christ too. Remember Christ Jesus cried out from the cross, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.”

2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death

You can be forgiven when you ask for forgiveness. He did not ask God for forgiveness.

The act of suicide shows a person separated from God. The latter part of the above verse says the sorrow of the world worketh death. Judas’ repentance was the sorrow of the world which lead to his suicide. Also God says that anyone that defiles the temple (our body) God will destroy (1 Corinthinians 3:17).

Suicide is self murder. A muderer shall not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21).   Therefore a person committing suicide is guilty of self murder and therefore must ask for forgiveness in order to be forgiven.

Some people refer to Samson and his death as an example of suicide.  The question is, did he committ suicide.  No.  Samson gave his life for his nation.  Christ Jesus also gave His life for the world.  It is not considered suicide if you give your life to save another person’s life.

  20. When Jesus said “Father forgive them for they know not what they do,” did God honor his request? If so, was Judas forgiven? Was Pilate and the crowds that screamed crucify Him forgiven? Was any person who participated in his crucifixion forgiven? Also, isn’t every person responsible for his death, burial and resurrection since it was because of our sins that Christ was crucified and resurrected? So from this broader perspective, is everyone forgiven based on Jesus’ request of “Father forgive them for they know not what they do” during his final moments on the cross?

  21. Anonymous,

When Jesus said “Father forgive them for they know not what they do,” did God honor his request?

Yes, God honored Our Lord and Savior request. Forgiveness simply releases the person from the infraction committed. It does not change the heart of a person or His standing with God. The forgiven person can and sometimes will commit the same infraction for which he was forgiven as the Nation of Israel did. In order to show mercy upon the whole world the Son of God asked for forgiveness. If Christ Jesus our Lord had not asked for forgiveness consider the following verses.

Malachi 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Psalms 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Forgiveness stayed God’s hand from cursing the earth. Psalms 2 is a reference to the Messiah, our Lord and Savior Jesus. If He had not offered forgiveness He could have smitten the earth as He will do in His next return.

Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Revelation 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh

We are all forgiven. It is only through our being forgiven that we could even hope to approach God for salvation.

The same forgiveness that God offers to us we are to offer to others. as it says in Matthew 6 when the disciples asked the Lord Jesus to teach them to pray. Christ Jesus said we are to forgive if we want to be forgiven.

Forgiveness is not salvation. Salvation is placing your trust in Christ Jesus as the Son of the Only Living God after you have been forgiven.  Therefore even though you have been forgiven you still need to surrender your heart to Christ Jesus for salvation.
