  1. The second coming is a promise from Christ Jesus to all that have repented and accepted Christ Jesus as Lord. The first time Christ Jesus came was to show the world His Grace. Grace is God through His Son showing favor to us forgive us of all sins and teaching and helping us to remain free from sin. Sin is disobedience to God’s Word. Premarital sex, homosexuality, drunkenness, lying, prejudice, hatred, unforgiveness and refusing to accept Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior are all sins. If we do not avail ourselves of His Grace presented at His first coming then what awaits us is the judgement of the second coming.

It is not God’s desire that any soul should perish, but if we reject His Son Christ Jesus then all that is left for us is His judgement at His second coming. The Book of Revelation is better translated as the Book of the unveiling. God shows to the world the things that happen to those that do not accept Christ Jesus. All believers are caught up to be with the Lord Christ Jesus and changed from mortal to immortality to live with Him forever. The unbelievers are cast into everlasting torment in the Lake of Fire.

Many have been deceived with the understanding of the Rapture. For a better understanding of the Rapture consider the word Ressurection used in the New Testament. Resurrection takes place at the Rapture. The Apostle Paul said that we which are alive and remain shall not precede those that have died in Christ. Christ Jesus also stated at the resurrection of Lazarus that the Resurrection will take place at the last day. Therefore the rapture and resurrection are a part of the same event that takes place at the last day.

Those that believe that the Church is raptured up starting with the fourth chapter of Revelation have no basis in fact. They simply read into the scripture that which is not there.
