“God Speaks For You To Take Control of Your Life”
We often believe ourselves to be victims. Tragic things may have happened to us. Some of these things may have debilitated us either physically or mentally. Many of the conferences or revivals that we attend only speak to the perpetrators and not to the victim being held accountable.
I know this may sound harsh if you were a person that suffered harm. However, this is the thing that sets a Christian apart from the world and also allows us resume our life.
We must realize that when God said that those that live righteous shall suffer persecution it was telling the truth. Christ Jesus was the great example of someone who suffered but yet forgave and was able to move on with the will God the Father had for His Life.
You can too can move on. God gives us the power to forgive and in forgiving we become a new creature. This new creature is not held captive to hurts or baggage but is able to move forward in the will of God as His Son Christ Jesus did.
Hebrews 1:1 says that God has spoken to us through His Son Christ Jesus our Lord. He speaks a word to us to know that we can forgive and move forward in the will of God. No matter what the problem, temptation, hurt, disappointment or sin was committed in the past.
What is terrorism? Encarta defines terrorism as political violence: violence or the threat of violence, especially bombing, kidnapping, and assassination, carried out for political purposes. The United Nations in 1997 issued this statement related to terrorism. “The Convention applies to the offence of the intentional and unlawful delivery, placement, discharge or detonation of an explosive or other lethal device, whether attempted or actual, in, into or against a place of public use, a State or government facility, a public transportation system or an infrastructure facility, with the intent to cause death or serious bodily injury, or extensive destruction likely to or actually resulting in major economic loss.”
Because these attacks or attempted attacks are against sovereign nations, e.g., Israel, United States, etc., many believe these attacks or threats of attacks are for political reasons. Many people and nations refuse to discuss the real reason behind the Islamic terrorist because the Islamic terrorists have been linked with other terrorists. However these terrorists are different in they do not have a single nationality or a single homeland they are seeking. Instead the Islamic terrorist are joined together by philosophy, religion and intimidation.
This is an enemy unknown to nations. Most wars are fought over ethnicity, land and money. However the war against Islamic terror does not fit these categories. Muslims are of different ethnic groups. Africans, Arabs and Europeans have all participated in some form of Islamic terrorism. They do not have a land that they are defending. Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Indonesia are countries controlled by Muslims but yet they have suffered terrorists attacks. Money is not the answer because rewards of up to $25 million for the capture of terrorist leaders have gone unclaimed while many of the perpetrators of terrorism live in abject poverty.
What then is the cause of Islamic terrorism? The root cause is steeped in the legitimacy of one religion versue another. Many claim that all religions lead to God. There is nothing further from the truth. The extremists on either end of Zionism and Islam know that the crux of their religion is dependent upon the elimination of the other.
God in Genesis chapters 12 through fifteen tells Abraham that his Seed is to totally dominate and possess all of Palestine/Philistine or the Promised Land. Joel 3:2 states that God will punish the people that divide up the Promised Land. Therefore for the Jew it is important that he reclaim all of the Promised Land if he wants to be obedient to God.
For the Muslim who believes that Islam will be the only religion in the world. All inhabitants of the earth will become Muslims. The President of Iran believes this and awaits a great conflagration in Iraq to usher in the Mahdi. In Islam thought the Mahdi is the person that will usher in universal Islam, some believe with the help of Isa (who some Muslims call Jesus).
The one thorn in the side of Muslims is Israel. Israel is the lone Jewish state surrounded by Muslim state in the Middle East. How can Islam possibly claim superiority of the world when they cannot eradicate Israel. In 1967 the surrounding Muslim nations started a war against Israel. Israel won this war in 6 days and captured all of Jerusalem. However, because of the agreement that allowed Israel to become a nation in 1947 that established its boundaries, Israel was pressured by the United Nations to return partial control of Jerusalem to the Palestinians.
This is why the Muslim nations so detest Israel. Israel is a constant reminder to them that their religion is inferior to the God of the universe. And this is also why they hate the United States of America due to our military support of Israel.
One more thing to consider. In Ezekiel 36 God Almighty states that the reason He will regather Israel from the four corners of the World to re-establish them is only for His Name sake. As a matter of fact, God said He would rejoice in their destruction if they did not obey Him. Therefore the regathering of Israel and their protection is to prove to the World that God is God and it is not due to some special priviledge Israel has.
After all, in Galatians 3, Paul state that the Seed of Abraham through whom all the World would be blessed is none other than our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Therefore the promise is to whoever receives the Seed or receives Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. Supporting scriptures are in Romans 2:28-29.
Where are the real leaders of the church?
1Peter 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 1 Timothy 3:2-4, 8. 10-12 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
The real leaders that love the brethren.
1 John 3:16-18 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
The real leaders that are winning the lost.
Jude 1:21-23 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
The real leaders that are living a life that you can follow.
2 Corinthians 4:1-2 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
The real leaders that love God more than money.
Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 2 Peter 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
The real leaders that are not building their kingdoms on earth but are praying…Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10
The real leaders that refuse to put unrigheous people in positions in the church
Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. 1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 1 Corinthians 5:11-13 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
The real leaders that will do what Paul says to do to people who openly commit fornication, (adultery, homosexuality)
1 Corinthians 5:1…there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. 1 Corinthians 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Please explain the Apostolic doctrine. A family member is freqently attending an apostolic church, and is talking about needing to be re-baptized in Jesus’ name only.
There are different churches that call themselves Apostolic. The one you need to be concerned with are those that believe in the oneness doctrine. This believe does not believe in the triune God, but one God simply changed places.
It is there belief that Jesus was God the Father, then became the Son and after this the Holy Spirit. In Matthew 3 when Jesus is Baptized by John the Baptist and the Heavenly Father spoke “this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased”, their belief is that Jesus was a ventriloquist and threw His voice in Heaven. In other words, while Jesus was here on earth there was no one in Heaven.
They also place a strong emphasis on water baptism in Jesus name. The belief is that this is what the apostoles practiced in the Book of Acts. Each instance of Baptism in the Book of Acts, they believe is done in the name of Jesus and not Father, Son, Holy Spirit. You are not saved, neither can you properly receive the Holy Spirit unless you are baptized in water in Jesus name only. If you are not baptized this way you are lost according to their doctrine.
It is becaue of these errors that they believe that any one that believe in the separare persons of the Heavenly Father, Son and Holy Spirit are doomed to hell because he/she worships three gods instead of one.
They use the following verses to attest to their belief:
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. – Deut. 6:4
” ‘See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god beside me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand. Deut. 32:39
Therefore you are great, O Lord God. For there is none like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears. 2 Samuel 7:22
For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God. – Psalm 86:10
They misunderstand the word ONE. The word in the Hebrew is ECHAD. This word means one in unity. The following verse shows that the Body of Christ is ONE as He and the Father are ONE, different members but one Body.
John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Notice also what Christ Jesus our Lord proclaims about Himself and the Heavenly Father:
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Two little words, WE and OUR, speak of the plurality of the Godhead, but one God. This is expressed again in I John 5:7 where it says the Father, Word and Holy Spirit are ONE. Once again proving that the doctrine of ONENESS is a heresy. If you cannot believe the Words of Christ Jesus and the Apostles, how can you say that you are a believer.
John 1:1 state that Jesus is the Word of God, The literal spoken Word of God. This same Word became flesh. He prayed to the Father on the Cross. He stated that He came from the Father. Jesus constantly stated that the person of the Father was separate from the Son. However they both had the same nature. Humans begat humans, monkeys begat monkeys and God begat God (John 3:16).
The other issue is Baptism. As the thief on the cross was not baptized and no record exists of the Apostles (other than Saul) being baptized, means that baptism is not the criteria some make it out to be. I Peter 3:21 states that Baptism by water does not save, but an answer of a good conscience towards God.
Baptism was not created by the New Testament Church. The waters of purification that Jesus turned into wine at the wedding was used for baptism. Jews baptized as a way of making themselves ritually pure before serving in the temple or coming before God. There were many baptisms. If a man had nocturnal secretions, he was to be baptized before going into the Assembly. A woman was to be baptized each month after her cycle. Therefore baptism was a procedure that made you ritually pure before serving God. It did not save you, it only prepard you for service.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
This is not the only formula given in the Book of Acts for Baptism. Notice the following verse:
Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days
They were baptized in the Name of the Lord (not Jesus). Also, once again this contradicts what Christ Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
They fail to understand what the Word Baptize means. In every instance the word baptize is used they believe it means water baptism. Baptism means to submit to the one whose name you are being baptized in. There are different types of baptism in the New Testament and they do not all refer to water baptism.
Baptism with fire(Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire)
Baptism with the Holy Spirit (John 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.)
Baptism unto Moses (1 Corinthians 10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea)
Baptism Conscience (1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:)
John’s Baptism (Matthew 21:25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?)
All of God’s Word is in agreement. Matthew 28 must agree with all the other scriptures in the Bible. If you follow closely everyone that was baptized in the Book of Acts you will discover that they already understood who the Heavenly Father was so there was no need to be baptized in the name of the Heavenly Father. However, they did not know who Jesus was. This lead to them being Baptized (submit to the teaching) in Jesus name.
Sometimes before water baptism, other times after water baptism, the Holy Spirit baptized the Believer. We should people what it means to submit to the Heavenly Father and Who He is. We must teach people Who the Son of God is and what it means to Submit to Him. We must also teach people who the Holy Spirit and His purpose.
As stated in I John 5:7,8 there are three in the earth that help us to understand the Godhead. The Spirit, Water and Blood all make up one person. Each part of the Body has a distinct purpose. The Spirit gives life to the body, Water refreshes the body and the Blood supplies the nutrients to the Body. Without either one of the three the body is dead. All three make the ONE body.
As in Heaven so is it in the Earth. The Heavenly Father sends the Son. The Son does not send the Father. The Son gives His life for the world. The Holy Spirit dwells in the heart of all believers. Once again showing that each person in the Godhead serves a different and distinct purpose.
Pray for and rescue your loved one if he is about to make an entry into this heresy. You have been armed to declare the Word of God..

There are several references made througthout the Bible concerning the “Angel of the Lord.” Who is the Angel of the Lord?
Also, please comment about the church being “the bride of Christ.”
The Angel of the Lord is God’s messenger on earth. The words angel and messenger are the same in the Greek “Angelos”. It is the context in which the word is being used that determines whether you use angel or messenger. But the meaning is still the same. An angel is a messenger of God. Notice the two verses below with the Strong Concordance number for “Angelos”, , which show the same word translated as angels and messenger.
Luke 4:10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
Luke 7:24 And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
Some have interpreted the Angel of the Lord to be Christ Jesus preincarnate. Genesis 18th chapter speaks of three men appearing to Abraham. He bows and calls one of the men Lord. Because one of the men is called Lord and Abraham bows to him some intrepret this to be Christ Jesus preincarnate because no one has ever seen God the Father and lived (Exodus 33:20).
The reason this is not true is that we continue to see the Angel of the Lord in the New Testament after the resurrection of Christ Jesus our Lord.
Acts 5:19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said
Acts 12:7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands
Instead the Angel of the Lord is God’s messenger/angel who carries all the authority of God because he represents God. It was the same thing when God told Moses in Exodus 7;1.
Exodus 7:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet
Because Moses represented God he carried the authority of God. This was the same characteristic the Angel of the Lord had, but he was not God.
Also in Hebrews 1st chapter, the Bible declares that Christ Jesus was made greater than the angels. God the Father also stated that He did not call any of the angels His Son. An angel is a creation of God. Christ Jesus has always been with the Father. He was not created.
Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
He cannot be a Son and an angel too. The Son comes out from the Heavenly Father, an angel is created. This is the false teaching of the Jehovah’s Witness that teach that the arch angel Michael is Jesus. They teach this because they believe that Jesus is God’s first creation and since angels are created Jesus must be an angel. Instead we declare that Christ is the Son of God that came out from God.
You cannot be the Bride and Groom. Revelations speaks of Christ being the Groom. Ephesians 5th chapter speaks of Christ being the Head of the Church. If the Church is the Bride of Christ, that means that Christ is marrying Himself. Instead Revelations tells who the Bride is.
Revelation 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Also you find the Spirit and the Bride beckoning the body of believers to come to Christ.
Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely
Therefore the Bible speaks of the Bride of Christ as being the New Jerusalem.

I have heard most of my life, that the bride of Christ is the church and that the Angel of the Lord is Gabriel the archangel. For the majority of my Christian life, I relied and took the word of the Pastor as gospel truth; rarely searching/reading the Bible myself.
Now I search/read God’s Word myself and sometimes it is hard to put it down. My Pastor strongly encourages his members to study God’s written word for ourselves. When you study His word for yourself, He truly becomes personal and real. Sometimes when reading scriptures, I can feel His Presence fill my room!
When I’m going through a “valley moment,” He wraps me in His lovingkindness, reminding me that I can trust Him to work out all things for my good.

2 Corinthians 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
This scripture supports that we (the ecclesia, called out, assembly, church) are not the bride of Christ but the wife. Earthly husband and wife are one flesh. Christ and His wife is one body, one Spirit, one baptism. Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
New Jerusalem is the bride of Christ. Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

I am very disturbed by a Christian teaching show that aires on Satellite Channel 224 at 8:30 am Pastor Dennis Murray and his elderly father. They are teaching false doctrines in the bible. One that I heard personally was Eve had twin boys Cain (father was serpent) and Abel (father was Adam). He told the audience to ask any doctor about the validity of a woman being able to get pregnant with twins by two different fathers. Yes, I am a teacher of the Word of God and I shot holes all up in this teaching. My basic concern is to a young convert of the faith that is in a bible study I teach that has been watching this show and wants to make some sense of this. I know you are well versed and could enlighten me on how to bring light to this dark (evil) teaching.

2 Timothy 2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
The authority must become the Word of God. If a person does not believe the Bible is the Word of God it will be very difficult convincing him of how wrong the person is.
Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Moses and the Prophets represent the scriptures. Once a person trust in the Word of God it is easy to show the false teachings.
God said that He made everything after his own kind. That is why lions can not have chimpanzees and giraffes cannot have tigers. Each produces after his own kind.
Genesis 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Genesis 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good
The Bible states that Adam is the father of Cain.
Genesis 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
The word “knew” means Adam had sexual intercourse with Eve.
Exodus 22:19 says a person should be put to death for the type of action mentioned by the false teacher. However, God only punished Cain for the murder of his brother, therefore leading one to believe that once again what the false teacher mentioned did not happen.
Genesis 25:24 states that Jacob and Esau were twins in the mother’s womb. Again the Book of Genesis uses the word twins when referring to Pharez and Zarah the twins of Tamar by Judah. Whenever twins are born in the Old Testament they are referred to as twins. Cain and Abel are never called twins. The Bible says that “again” Eve bear Abel, implying that it was a separate pregnancy.
